Palladian Splendor
Location: Winter Park
"The color scheme for this house was based on
numerous rugs purchased in Turkey for the house more
than 10 years ago. Often, the scenario for color selection
is based on a favorite picture, piece of fabric, rug
or accessory that promotes the client’s own sense
of satisfaction. The myriad colors of spices used –
cinnamon, curry, nutmeg, apricot, gold and cerulean
blue, with accents of black - gave impetus to the selection
of a warm hue - which I call peanut butter – for
the walls, and a bisque shade for the woodwork and trim.
The oak flooring in the Great Room, a combination of
a living, dining, library, foyer and hall, is a deep,
warm, cherry brown."
