Jim Brennan, Comptroller

Jim Brennan joined Carolyn Franklin Interior Design (CFID) in August 2004, having moved his family here from Pennsylvania, just before the three hurricanes that year!

Jim’s responsibilities as Comptroller includes all record keeping on client accounts, bookkeeping and related financial responsibilities, and providing supervision of technology and facilities needs.

After a 30-year career with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, a United States Treasury bureau, Jim accepted an “early retirement” offer. His career with the OCC included field work as a National Bank Examiner, and management positions in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Jim enjoyed his time as a stay at home dad for a couple of years, then offered his services as a small-business bookkeeper for two companies in the Philadelphia area. Upon his relocation to Orlando, Jim joined CFID as Comptroller.

Jim and his wife Christine have three children at home in Winter Springs, four grown children in Pennsylvania and recently, grandchildren.

Jim’s knowledge, dedication and skills in the financial field are a valuable asset for Carolyn Franklin Interior Design’s clients and vendors.
